Adulteration is modernised and as a result consumers are victimised

Technology is improved, methods of selling goods changed, milk is homogenised, readymade food is supplied, misleading advertisements are innovated, adulteration is modernised and as a result consumers are victimised.

Everyday, hundreds of consumers are being victimised and consumers are looking for help because of lack of awareness of consumer related issues. Some of them are not even aware of the legislation that protects them. Our group’s avowed objective is to remove consumer ignorance. In pursuance of this objective, we are organising webinars even in this critical period to convert the members into soldiers of consumer movement, to defend consumers, create awareness and establish informed society.

On Sunday, the 6th September 2020 we are organising an important webinar on Consumer Protection Act, 2019 which has come in to force on 20th August 2020. Three additional chapters, namely Central Consumer Protection Authority, Product Liability, and Mediation are included in this Act, on which we need to develop knowledge.

Please participate and motivate your friends to participate in the webinar. We are organising this webinar jointly with Swarnandhra Group of Engineering Colleges, to make the youth empowered with required knowledge. Please remember that the webinar starts at 10.30 am on Sunday the 6th of this month.
