All 104 calls degitalised for quick action

Amaravati, July 31: As part of the measures to contain Covid-19 pandemic, the state government has strengthened the 104 call centre to take immediate action once a call is received, right from testing the patient to the allotment of a bed, as per the instructions of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The whole process would be degitalised till the patient is discharged. The programme would be deleted only when the case is closed. The officials of the medical and health department detailed the digitalised process to the Chief Minister at his camp office here on Friday. First of all, the process would entail the department to decide on the nearest hospital where the patient can be admitted, the name of the axillary nursing midwife and the doctor to look after the patient.

The doctor would immediately take up the case once there is a suspicion of Covid-19 and conduct the test and as per the doctor’s advice, the patient would immediately be admitted to a hospital for follow-up action or to the nearest Covid Care Centre. All the calls would be degitalised online.
