AP Govt Sign MoU for vaccine unit in Jagan’s Home land Pulivendula

Amaravati, June 19: Andhra Pradesh government has signed a MoU with Immunologix India Private Limited(IGY) in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for setting up of a vaccine manufacturing unit at Pulivendula.

The manufacturing unit would be set up at the State Centre for Advanced Research on Livestock, Pulivendula and the MoU was signed by (APCARL) CEO Dr M Srinivas Rao on behalf of the Government and Dr Adinarrayana Reddy, promoter of IGY at the camp office here on Friday.

The vaccine unit will work under PPP model and IGY will invest about Rs 50 crore unit which will manufacture vaccine for livestock and the vaccine will be in market by 2021.
The unit will provide employment to about 100 persons.
