The fabled row of MANSAS((Maharaja Alak Narayan Society of Arts and Sciences) Trust and Simhachalam temple trust which was started with appointing Sanchaita Gajapathi Raju as the Chairperson of these trusts entered the AP High Court.
P. Ashok Gajapathiraju, the scion of Vijayanagaram royal family who was also a former Union Minister moved the High Court who strongly opposed removing him from the trust board and appointing Sanchita in his place and expressed his opinion that he will become the chairman once again.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju’s elder brother Ananda Gajapathi Rahu used to be the chairman of all the trusts including the MANSAS trust and after his demise, Ashok Gajapathi Raju took that position.
A sudden rift came in the Gajapati Raju family with the ruling YSRCP government made Sanchita, the daughter of ex-MP P Ananda Gajapathi Raju the chairman of the family trusts.
Sanchita was made the chairman after removing Ashok Gajapathi Raju from the trust board and as a chairman. This did not go well with the scion of Vijayanagaram royal family
The new chairman of the trusts is a lawyer by profession who is also a BJP women wing leader and NGO activist.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju accused that she did not take care of her father when he was alive and subsequently she doesn’t possess any chance of making it to the chairman of the trusts.
