Amaravti, June 23: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed the officials to brace up for the distribution of over 29 lakh houses on July 8 and the keep adequate stock of sand to meet the monsoon demand and reiterated that he will tour the villages once the pandemic ebbs.
During the video conference as part of the Spandana programme here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said, while reviewing various subjects, said that all measures like land acquisition, possession, development of plots should be expedited and the officials should begin the lottery process as distribution of over 29 lakh houses is a major programme being undertaken by the government.
The list of eligible candidates should be displayed at all village secretariats and there should be no complaints and officials will be held responsible for any lapses. As assured earlier, pension card or ration card should be given within 10 days, Aarogyasri in 20 days and house site pattas in 90 days.
The Chief Minster instructed the officials to store 70 lakh tonnes of sand to meet the monsoon demand. The officials said that they have stored 46.30 lakh tonnes of sand as of now.
On sand procurement, he said that Srikakulam should procure 20 k tonnes of sand, East Godavari 60 k tonnes), West Godavari 35 k tonnes), Krishna (50 k tonnes), Guntur (40 k tonnes) per day. This sand itself will be useful in the during rainy season. Sand can be taken free of cost from third order rivers and rivulets by tractors and bullock carts, Panchayati Rah Principal Secretary Gopalkrishna Dwivedi said.
Under Nadu Nedu, 55 k Anganwadis should be revamped. Repairs should be taken up where there are own buildings and new ones should be constructed where there are no own buildings.
JAGANANNA PACHA THORANAM;
Under Jagananna Pachathoranam, six crores trees should be planted to provide green cover. With Nadu Nedu under progress, there is scope for plantation along the perimeter of schools, vacant places, internal roads, approach roads and other places. In the same way trees should be planted at the layouts where house sites are to be distributed. The beneficiaries should also be given four plants per house.
YSR Health Clinics will be coming up as urban clinics with two km separating each one and should take about 15 minutes waking time. Land should be identified for these clinics, the Chief Minister said.
MANA BADI NADU NEDU
With the schools reopening on August 3, all works should be completed by then and any shortcomings would be taken seriously, the Chief Minister said. The infrastructure including furniture, fans are being sent to schools. Some laxity was found in urban areas and as there are no restrictions on funds, the works should be completed on the dot, he said.
The Recognition of Forest Rights (RoFR) pattas should be distributed on August 9 coinciding with the Adivasi Diwas. Tribals should be provided with a good standard of living, he said.
On June 26, pending insurance amount of 2018 rabi crop, amounting to Rs 596 crores will be paid which will benefit about 5 lakh farmers belonging to Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore and Prakasam districts.
RBKs should be functioning with full force as we have allotted a Joint Collector to look after the work in the 10,641 RBKs and 65 RBK hubs to deliver quality agriculture inputs to farmers within 48 hours of the order. e-cropping should be useful for crop loans, insurance and other facilities. Horticulture and aqua culture should also be covered under e cropping, the Chief Minister said.
As the Government policy is to establish one teaching hospital in each of the Parliament constituencies, land should be identified for same as the State would be building 16 medical colleges in addition to the existing 11 colleges.
Until the vaccine comes up, we have to learn to live with corona and awareness should be created among the people on the dos and donts and remove the stigma attached to the infection. Every Village Secretary should display the steps to be taken if there are symptoms and they should volunteer for tests. Nearly 85 persons get cured in home quarantine and the rest need to visit the hospital. Every district should have 1500 beds and when 108 and 104 vehicles are pressed into service, each mandal will have one 104 fully equipped. Tests will be carried out in every household, he said.
The remaining work of land acquisition and rehabilitation works with regard to Vamsdhara, Thotapalli, Polavaram, Veligonda, Gandikota, Chitravti balancing reservoir should be expedited. Veligonda will come in handy this season while rehabilitation works should be carried for storing water at Gandikota and Chitravati at full reservoir level. Evacuation works should be carried out by the district collectors of East and West Godavari districts with regard to Polavaram.
Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Adimulapu Suresh, Chief Secretary Neelam Sawhney, GDP Goutham Sawang and other officials were present at the conference.
