Hyderabad, June 15::Former MP, Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha come forward rescue of a Telangana person who was got tortured by his employer in Saudi Arabia.
Indetail, Ankamolla Ravi, a native of Armoor, Nizamabad district Exodus to Saudi Arabia six years ago to support his family financially.
However, Ravi claimed the
employer turned to violent physical abuse on a routine basis. After another recent physical handling, a hapless Ravi posted a video of his blooded face in social media.
Ravi’s family approached Narsimha Naidu, president of Gulf Victims Welfare Association for seeking help, who brought the issue to the notice of former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha. The Former MP immediately took the matter to alert the message to Union Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar on Twitter and also sought External Affairs Ministry’s intervention in rescuing Ankamolla Ravi.

Kalvakuntla Kavitha meanwhile discussed the matter at hand with Indian embassy officials in Saudi Arabia and helped Ravi in getting a flight ticket to Hyderabad. On Sunday night, Ankamolla Ravi reached Shamshabad airport and officials moved Ravi to Armur following while adhering to Covid-19 guidelines.
Ravi’s family members thanked Kalvakuntla Kavitha for her immediate compassionate response and rescuing Ravi from torture in Saudi Arabia.
