Nalla Sanjeevareddy, National President, All India Reddy Association, said that the EWS reservation announced by the Central Government for the upper caste poor should be implemented immediately. On Tuesday, the first state level meeting of the All India Reddy Association was held under the supervision of state president Devender Reddy in the Tellapur municipality of Sangareddy district.
Nalla Sanjeeva Reddy, National President, who was the chief guest at the conference, said that social equality for all sections was being achieved in line with the changing times in the country and the state. But he alleged that the implementation of reservations was unfair to the youth and employees belonging to the upper castes from the very beginning. Awareness was expressed that the EWS reservation,
which the Central Government had so ambitiously announced for the promotion of the upper castes, was nowhere to be enforced. He said the government was ignoring the provisions to implement EWS reservation in Telangana state. He was outraged that the Telangana government had completely failed to address the problems of the people belonging to the upper castes. He warned that legal action would be taken under the auspices of AIRA in this regard. Afterwards, the key leaders held a round table meeting on the future activities of the All India Reddy Association.
