Nationwide Lockdown in Containment Zones Extended till June 30, Says MHA

Central Government on Saturday Issued Guidelines for Lock Down 5.0. According to the New Guidelines Lock Down Will be Continued in Containment Zones Up to June 30th.

The Ministry of Home Affairs today announced new guidelines for the fifth phase for phased reopening of areas outside containment zones.

In their Latest Guidelines, Centre Says that Curfew Will be Continued From 9pm to 5am Daily. Shopping Malls, Temples, Zims and Hotels to be Opened From 8th June.

The Home Ministry also Says that No passes will be required for Inter State Travel From June 1st.

The Central Govt’s Decision comes on a day India recorded the biggest daily spike in coronavirus cases as well as deaths, with 7,964 infections and 265 fatalities in 24 hours. The central government is likely to extend the lockdown in some form by another two weeks after May 31 to stop the spread of coronavirus but there could be even more relaxations in the offing
