AMARAVATI: Former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday heaped praise on actor Sonu Sood for his gesture in support of the poor farmer’s family in Chittoor district.
Naidu said it was an act of inspiration that Sonu Sood donated a tractor to the farmer belonging to Mahal Rajapalli village in KV Palle mandal. The TDP chief called the actor on phone and lauded his gesture.
Sonu Sood responded with his support after seeing a tweet in which the poor farmer was shown tilling land while his two daughters were pulling the plough in place of the bullocks.
Naidu said the TDP would take care of the education of the Dalit farmer Nageswara Rao. It may be recalled that the farmer was actually running a tiffin centre in Madanapalle but was forced to close it down in view of the Coronavirus restrictions and lockdowns. He moved his family to his native place and began cultivating his land with the help of his family members unable to bear the costs.
