Amaravati, July 7: Chandrababu Naidu is more anxious about his real estate business than State benefits and thus he halted the distribution of house pattas to the poor by approaching the High Court, said Government Whip Dadisetti Raja.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Dadisetti Raja said that the TDP leaders have intentionally stopped the distribution of 30 lakh house pattas, while the State government aspired to provide house sites to the poor and weaker sections across the State. Today Chandrababu Naidu is making false claims stating that they have provided lakhs of houses in their rule.
He further criticized Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu for bringing caste to politicise every issue, while the government is taking action against the tainted leaders. Naidu should be ashamed for supporting those accused of corruption charges, murder, and those who make abusive statements against a woman.
Referring to Kapu welfare, he said that the State government spent Rs 4470 Crore in just one year while the previous government utilised only Rs 1874 Crore in its five-year term. TDP members don’t have any moral right to speak about Kapu welfare, as the Kapu community was betrayed by Chandrababu Naidu, he said.
Hitting back on the allegations of poor facilities in quarantine centers, Dadisetti Raja stated that AP stands best in the world for implementing an effective action plan in the fight against COVID-19. While most of the countries and even Indian states are suffering to provide oxygen to patients, we are doing our best without any lapse. Right from the food menu to advanced medical facilities, everything is in place and the opposition leaders will know this if they visit any hospital in person, he added.
Meanwhile, addressing media at the party office, MLA Jogi Ramesh flayed Chandrababu Naidu for creating hurdles in the path of implementing welfare activities and taking revenge on common people by crashing their dreams. While the State government started this ambitious project with Rs 7500 Crore in order to create an asset of Rs 20,000 Crore, Naidu ruined it. “We have moved apex court over this and this shall pass, as people’s blessings are with us,” said MLA.
“Chandrababu is claiming that he has built 25 lakh houses in five years. In reality, he sanctioned only 3.5 lakh houses, and constructed 2.5 lakh during his rule, but failed to complete even a single house. All he has left is Rs 3000 Crore debt to TIDCO and Rs 1300 Crore in the housing department, without completing even a single house. It is our Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has cleared all those debts and wanted to take forward the ambitious project of Housing for all. However, Naidu had successfully built a lavish bungalow in Hyderabad by spending a huge amount for his residence.” he added.
