No Further Lockdown in India, Its Purpose Achieved : Govt

The Union Govt has declared that No further Lockdown After May 31st. In his Recent Comments, Niti Aayog Member and Head of the National Task Force on Covid 19 Management Dr VK Paul Clarified It.

‘A lockdown can’t go on forever, it is meant for a purpose we have achieved to a very large extent. The lockdown allowed us to avoid an exponential rise in cases and line up our resources to tackle the pandemic in a much better way,’ said Dr VK Paul

This Statement Comes on a day the country saw a single day wise spike of over 6000 cases, the highest ever.

Govt had extended the lockdown upto May 31st. And According to the Govt, No further lockdown From June 1st.
