Ola to Lay off 1,400 Staff as Covid-19 Hits Revenues

Cab aggregator Ola on Wednes Day decided to laying off 1,400 Staff from rides as revenues declined by 95 per cent in the last two months due to coronavirus pandemic, a note by CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said.

Ola runs the financial services and food business across all Major Cities in India. But due to Coronavirus Pandemic Ola also Suffered like Other Players in the Market.

In the past few weeks, a number of tech-led businesses like Uber, Zomato and Swiggy have announced layoffs as the Covid 19 lockdown dried up demand and ravaged businesses.
